Born May 8, 1946 in Miami FL, Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Arline and Ray, of Mint Hill. She is survived by her brother Bill Burns and sister-in-law Linda; sister Becky Campbell and brother-in-law Sid; nieces and nephews Darek Burns, Keith Burns, Alan Campbell, Mark Burns, Heather Campbell, Christina Burns and Benny Burns.
Barbara retired from the accounting division of Snyder-Lance in December 2012.
Barbara was a member of the Wilgrove Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, one of many congregations she was associated with since her teenage years. Her complete confidence in the ability of Jehovah God’s Kingdom Government to bring happiness to all mankind was unwavering and defined her life.
A memorial for Barbara will be held at McEwen in Mint Hill on Thursday, August 31 at 2:00 PM. The family would like to receive friends immediately after. The family will appreciate cards and letters more than flowers.
