I am so sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. I know that she is home with the Lord and with George.. I just wanted to tell you how much your mother and Dad meant to me and my family. Aunt Bonnie was so special to me & it's so sad to think both she & Uncle George are gone now. They & their children were always so special to our family, and we spent many summer vacations together as families. It always involved campers or tents to find a bed for everyone, but it was SOOO much fun. I stayed with them in Charlotte the summer after my Daddy died, when I was 15, and it literally helped me to survive that heart breaking experience. It made me feel normal again, & that was a true gift. Pat & I were like 2 peas in a pod, and laughed all the time. The Callahan house was always a gathering place for many of the neighborhood kids & I have so many funny stories and fond memories from that time in my life. I saw the ocean & swam in it for the 1st time on vacation with them at Carolina Beach. To this day, I laugh out loud when I think or talk about some of the things that happened that Summer; and Aunt Bonnie was usually right in the middle of all of it!  My Mother, Bonnie's sister Charlotte (see picture) and all of our family members, will miss her so very much, and there will be a void in our lives without her. But Grandma Bessie, her brothers, sister and Uncle George who have gone before her, are happy to be with her again. 
Goodbye Aunt Bonnie; I love you so much and will never, ever forget you.
