Carol Ann Caplinger Isner

Her family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 27 at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill, NC. Visitation and services to be held on Thursday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, WV. The Song Service to be led by Francis Sellers. Worship Service and Memorial to be given by Tom Butterfield. Interment to follow in Evergreen South Cemetery.

A native of Parkersburg, Carol was the daughter of Alberta Drennen Caplinger and the late Robert Caplinger. She was a member of the Concord church of Christ and was employed with Miller Orthopedic as a nurse for fifteen years. Carol enjoyed working, gardening, shopping and adored her pets. She also loved to travel; her favorite destination was Charleston, SC.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Robert Caplinger and her two brothers, Allan “Pete” Caplinger and Robert “Robby” Caplinger. Family who mourn her passing include her husband, Mike Isner; her mother, Alberta Caplinger; her son, Michael Isner II and his wife, Elisa; her daughter, Jennifer Petro and her husband, Herb; and seven grandchildren, Michael Isner III, Brandon Isner, Hailey Isner, Jacob Hollis, Jack Petro, Nathan Petro, Daniel Petro and Caitlin Petro.
