Danny Floyd Sr., 68, passed away April 25, 2017 at home. He was the son of the late Claude and Louise Floyd. Danny was born in Darlington, SC on April 9, 1949. He was also preceded in death by his son Danny Floyd Jr.
Danny was a loving husband, father, and poppy. He was a lover of the outdoors, which included hunting and fishing.
Danny is survived by his wife Suzie Floyd, daughter; Terri Lynn Floyd of Greensboro, NC; Step-daughter, Stephanie Hathcock of Salisbury, NC; granddaughters, Miranda and Jasmine Caron; sister, Bobbie Osborn, from Charlotte, NC, and mother-in-law, Peggy Sue Henry. Danny also leaves behind many other family members along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation with the family will be held from 1-2pm on Friday, April 28, 2017, at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd, Mint Hill NC, 28227. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2pm in the funeral home chapel.
