Donna was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg school system graduating from West Charlotte High School. She was the baby sister to brothers, Jimmy, Larry, and John. Prior to Larry's death, Donna took him into her home and they were great company for each other. One of Donna's leisure activities was yard sales and flea markets where she searched for Pepsi, Poodle, and Occupied Japan collectibles. Donna was a longtime employee of Harris Teeter having worked in the meat department and later as a produce clerk at various store locations, the last being at the Arboretum store.
Donna leaves behind her loving brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Susan Croxton; her dog, Chloe (her constant companion); her nieces, Christie Eggleston (Tim) and Candace Vaughn (Bobby McAlister); great nieces and nephews, Steven Osborne, Chelsey Church (Aaron), Nikki Baird (Chase), Alex Vaughn; and great-great-niece, Payton Baird.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 7632 Hood Road, Charlotte, NC.
