Norman Dennis Reynolds

Norman Dennis Reynolds, 90, passed away on November, 26, 2014 at his home. He was the son of the late Henry and May Bell Reynolds Norman was a lifelong resident of Mint Hill. He was a member of Conference Led True light Church of Christ.

He enjoyed simple things in life and he wanted to be known as a simple man. He was an avid vegetable gardener. He enjoyed John Deer Tractors, his horses and woodworking. But, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his brothers, Dewitt, Ira (Pete), Henry, Earl and Morris and Sister Eunice Reynolds Orr.

Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Doris Reynolds, children, Dennis Reynolds (Donna), Nancy Reynolds Hancock (Rick) and Carla Reynolds Mellon (Darrell), grandchildren, Ashley Reynolds, David Reynolds and Cameron Mellon and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 11:00am to 12:00pm Saturday, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation in the chapel at 12:00pm. The service will be conducted by Mr. Dwain Watson and Mr. Myron Colvin. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Mint Hill Fire Department or Hospice of Charlotte.
