I knew Graig since High School. Craig is one of the best friends I have ever had. I loved Craig as if he was a brother. Craig was a kind, extremely intelligent, and had an unreal sence of humor. 

My heart goes out to Craig's Family.
RIP Craig- I will miss you on earth

I was friends with Craig prior to his move to San Diego and his career change to be a teacher. Craig was one of my favorite people to talk with & spend time with whether it was one on one, or with our vacation buddies Bill, Arie & myself. We had great fun together & I will miss him even though I haven't seen him for over 10 years.
I wish my best to his family. I will see you Craig when it's my turn to go to heaven.

Sadly, I learned of Craig's passing a few days ago.  

Having lived next door to Craig some 5 years ago for quite a while, I was always struck with his wonderful temperament and sweet personality... especially - at the time - with my then rambunctious kids who could be pretty loud at night.... and Craig was both cool with it and pretended not to notice.  

His warmth and true friendship was engaging and he will be remembered fondly by me and my Family.

I cared for Mr. Goldman numerous times during his stay in the hospital, and was struck by his sincere graciousness and amazing character.  The great passion he had for his students and for teaching was communicated very early on and was never far from his mind.  To his students: he loved you all very much and regretted greatly not being able to be there as the school year started. I send my deepest condolences to Craig's parents, all family, friends, and students of Mr. Goldman, as he was a profoundly kind soul and will obviously be forever missed.

I grew up with Craig.  I will never forget his wit and sense of humor.  I have not seen him in over ten years but my memories are fresh.  May his family find peace and his students keep his legacy alive.

I am a visiting teacher with San Diego City Schools and was asked to take over for Mr. Goldman this fall when school started and he was too ill to begin the year with his students. We were preparing for his return to the classroom, and the students were looking forward to having him as their teacher. Over these weeks I have felt his presence in his classroom as I have guided his students to begin their school year. I am surrounded daily by his books, but since his passing I have experienced firsthand how much he was loved at this school. He will be missed by all. I only wish I had had the chance to know him.

Craig taught me what it means to be a teacher with heart and soul.  He was an amazing person who cared deeply for his students and had a great passion for life.  I will miss his amazing laugh and smiling face.

I'd like to offer the Goldman family my sincerest condolences on their sad loss. As we say in the UK, I wish you all a Long Life, free from further suffering. I'm still in a state of shock at the news, and having a very hard time putting these words on paper, as then it becomes real. I've known Craig for over ten years, and have the most wonderful memories of him - his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, the occasional word of wisdom in my ear and the way he made me laugh. His passion and love for teaching was evident to all who knew him, and I have no doubt that that his influence will leave a positive and lasting impression on all those he taught. A few years ago, I bought Craig a star for his birthday. There are literally thousands of stars that you can see in the night sky, but I know that one of those little diamonds, that shines so brightly, is named in honor of someone I cared about very much. Rest well my friend, love Lynda xxx

I have not seen Craig in many years but we were VERY close friends yrs back and coincidentally we found out yrs into our friendship that my Aunt Eudie worked for you.  Such a small world.  I learned of Craigs passing yesterday as I ran into a friend and she had mentioned she was going to a funeral today. I was (and still am) in such shock. Rest in Peace Craig.  My condolences to your whole family.  You will be missed.  I loved our couple of travels together.  You always had a smile on your face, enjoying everything.  If I know you, You went with a smile and the first thing you did was take a shvitz :).  Miss you.

Dear Goldman Family,
I just wanted to say how saddened I was to hear of the death of Craig Goldman. He was my daughter's 7th grade teacher at Muirlands and couldn't have been kinder and more generous to her. She was new to the school as we had just moved to the area and joining middle school a year after everyone else was tough. But Mr. Goldman not only made her feel welcome, he encouraged her and praised her and truly brightened each day for her. My daughter has often said he was her favorite teacher and has helped her more than any one.
