Edith Lee Goldstein of Van Nuys, California, passed away Monday. November 21, 2016 (21 Heshvan 5777), at 94. Services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at 11 am, graveside, in Eden Memorial Park. Services will be officiated by Rabbi Mark Goodman; flowers are being accepted.
Edith, originally from Minnesota, is preceded in passing by the love of her life, her husband, Milton Goldstein, Of Blessed Memory. Edith and Milton were married for 71 years. She is also preceded in passing by her son-in-law, Michael (Flora) Ofstein, Of Blessed Memory. Edith is survived by her children, Susan (Elliott) Altman, Mark Goldstein, and Flora (Michael, OBM) Ofstein; her 6 grandchildren, and her 5 great-grandchildren.
Edith was a wonderful cook, who loved being with her family. She played mah jong and pan before it became trendy. She was a dog lover. Edith and Milton were a cute couple, who enjoyed each others company. They shared a love of Frank Sinatra's music.
