Hannah Baum Oman died peacefully following a short illness. She grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Los Angeles in her twenties. Upon her retirement from Los Angeles Unified School District she devoted herself to visiting relatives around the globe and actively supporting organizations that were important to her. Hannah was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her daughter-in-law, Marjorie. She is survived by her son, Samuel Oman, her daughter, Miriam Bermann, four grand children and their spouses, and five great-grand children. The funeral will be held Thursday, January 2, at 3:00, at Groman Eden Mortuary, Mission Hills in the Groman Eden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish National Fund and/or the ALS Association.
