Roberta Sue Meizlik was born in 1944 and raised in Farrell, Pennsylvania, the second of three children, of Rose and Bernard I. Meizlik. She graduated Farrell High School and attended Youngstown State University. She taught school there, (5th grade) and as a substitute teacher in Farrell, and in Lake Elsinore, CA. Roberta left a 12 year marriage and fled to California, with her 2 daughters, before settling in Lake Elsinore, where she worked as an electroligyst. In 1995 she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked for a time as an in home health care assistant for several friends, and during her long battle with cancer. She succumbed to cancer, March 22, 2021, surrounded by family. members.
She is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Vernille, Lake Elsinore, Apryl Pechickjian, Granada Hills, her sister Gloria Edwards, Westlake Village brother James Meizlik, Los Angeles, granddaughters Ashley Castillo, Brianna Best, Serena and Madison Pechickjian and great grandson Cruze Sanchez.
