We are so grateful that Rollie was a part of the Braille Institute family for so many years.  Her dedication, generosity, and talent enriched countless lives!  She will be truly missed.

It was honor to attend Rollie's service yesterday and to meet her son Gary.  All of us at BIA are so truly grateful for the 50-plus years she spent transcribing print into braille for children who are blind. The full sum of her contribution can't be measured, as thousands upon thousands of children have been able to read newly published books because Rollie gave so generously of her time to make them accessible to them. Her generous spirit lives on in our hearts.
