My heart is sad and heavy to hear this news.  During my time in law school in the early 90s, Ginger took time to include me with family dinners both out and at home, and I never felt like the odd one out somehow.  Her laugh, her stories, I just found her to be so compassionate and non-judgmental. My heart is with the entire family for this sad time, and I will hold onto my good memories for which she was so responsible.  Take good care of one another.  

Mrs. Pelofsky was a second mom to me for 18 years in OKC and I am eternally grateful for her neverending kindness and love. She always treated me as one of her own and I will cherish the beautiful painting she gave me last time I visited her home. She has such a beautiful family and lives on each of her children. Her memory is certainly a blessing to all who knew her.  

Very sorry to hear about Gingers passing. I have so many wonderful memories from car pools to vacations.

Many wonderful memories growing up with the Pelofsky family. 'Aunt Ginger' was a second mom to me.  Condolences to the family.

I knew Ginger when she worked at Ackerman Associates in Oklahoma City.  She was working and Stan her husband was attending OU Med school. She was a commercial artist there and really was a treasure know.  She was the only person I have ever known from Brooklyn and she was great to know and work with. 
She was a great lady and the world will miss her. So will I.My condolences to her family.

I had the privilege to know Ginger when she first moved to Oklahoma City to help send her husband to medical school.  She couldn't drive!  She learned in their white Valliant car.  She had long hair which she twirlled in a bun and put on top of her head.  She was so funny.  We loved to get her to say "chocolate" because of her Brooklyn accent. It was at Ackerman Advertising that she was an artist and I was a secretary.  We were very young and enjoyed our work so much.  She and Stan attended my wedding in 1965...it was her first protestant wedding.
I also am friends of Butch Derrick, Dennis elementary kindergarten teacher, whom I saw today.  We are both saddened to learn of her passing.  Sincere sympathy to her children.

Having Ginger as our neighbor on Blue Stem Lake was an absolute delight!  With her acerbic wit and accident prone existence, boredom was never an issue. When she fell off her retaining wall and broke her leg, she sent her yard man to fetch me. From that moment I became her saver.  She even addressed cards that way. I will cherish the oil painting she gifted Jane and me for being her good neighbors.
