Bessie is predeceased by her husbands, Arthur Stilwell and Lonnie Watkins; her son, Ralph Stilwell and grandson, Tony Love. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Love and her husband Joe; stepdaughters, Lena Helms and Jeanette Turner; grandsons, Chris Love and fiancée Tracey Stack, Lane Macsheehan; daughter-in-law, Bridget Love; great-grandsons, Cody and his wife Jordan, Tyler, Gavin and Parker Love; brother, J.O. Craig and her extended family, the Birmingham’s and Bill and Trudy Hassenplug.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 21 from noon to 1 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe followed by a 1 pm Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Siler Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Brian Center for all their love and special care over the past five years.
