Beverley Dewhurst Ratcliff

Born on May 13, 1937 in Ontario, Canada to Frank and Verna Dewhurst, Beverley eventually moved to Jacksonville, Florida and then later to Charlotte, North Carolina. On October 6, 1962 she married her husband, Jerry Ratcliff. She attended Queens College and was a member of Stephenson Presbyterian Church. Beverley had many hobbies and activities of enjoyment including cooking, cross stitching, and gardening.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence (Larry) Dewhurst. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jerry Ratcliff; daughter, Leighann Walters (David); grandchildren, Morgan Trapp (David) and Logan Walters; and brother, Roger Dewhurst.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at Stephenson Presbyterian Church, located at 4224 N. Rocky River Rd., Monroe, North Carolina. A service to celebrate her life will then be held following the visitation at 2:00 pm with burial following immediately after the service at Lakeland Memorial Park.
