

He was born on February 8, 1960, in Elmira, New York to Richard Barclay and Catherine Carozza-Barclay. Brian worked as a corporate travel agent for over 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed peaceful evenings and weekends at home with his wife, Julie, and also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Brian had a very jovial spirit and loved to laugh. He had many hobbies and interests including cooking with his mother’s recipes as well as his own, watching a variety of sports particularly football, baseball, and various types of racing, and playing fantasy football with his sons. He also treasured his family vacations at the beach and with his daughters on Long Island. Brian had a love for animals and enjoyed feeding and watching birds. He also fostered dogs for many years. He was an avid music lover with some of his favorites being The Rolling Stones and Thin Lizzy.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Julie Saunders-Barclay; children, Kerry Maloney (Alan), Joseph Barclay (Ally), Brian Barclay (fiancé Jess Collins), Jordan Hill, and Sarah Delicati (Nicholas); grandchildren, Kayden Hill, Jesse Delicati, Saylor Maloney, Lennon Delicati, Carter Barclay, and Caleb Maloney; brother, Richard (Ricky) Barclay; and fur-baby of 18 years, Brodie Barclay who was fostered by Brian and Julie at 3 weeks old.
A celebration of life for Brian will be held at a later date.
