He was born on April 12, 1949, to the late Albert and Elinore Maxine Shoe.
Brian graduated from Parkwood High School and then attended Central Piedmont and various Technical Schools where he specialized in repairing electrical machinery. He had many hobbies and enjoyments in his life including hunting, fishing, and making knives. He especially loved his family and treasured the many precious moments he made with them.
Along with his parents, Brian is preceded in death by his brother, Aron Keith Shoe. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Ann Shoe; sons, Brian Kent Shoe, Jr. and Charles Albert Shoe (Rachel Leah Shoe); grandchildren, Carmen Paige Helms (Samuel Paul Helms) and Cody Andrew Shoe; and great-grandson, Hudson Paul Helms.
An open visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 1:15 pm until 2:15 pm at Siler Presbyterian Church, located at 6301 Weddington Road, Wesley Chapel, North Carolina. The family will not be present for the visitation. A funeral service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held following the visitation at 2:15 pm with Pastor Michael Krauter officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service at the church cemetery.
