He was born on August 28, 1984, son of Amy McCoy and the late Michael McCoy.
Chris is survived by his fiancé, Kimberly Poindexter; his mother, Amy McCoy; his brothers, Joshua McCoy and Tommy Bartholemew; his step-mother, Evelyn McCoy; his grandmother, Rebecca Brock; his aunt, Angie Nix; his cousin Katie Haigler (Byron) and by his many brothers in military service.
Chris proudly served in the US Army with deployments including Iraq, Afganistan and Germany. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his fiancé Kimberly and their new puppy, Bailey.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:30pm Friday, November 12, 2021 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:30pm in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park with military honors. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the McCoy family.
