

Clifford, or “Cliff,” was born June 15th, 1930 in Wilmington, NC. He was a middle child of eight and graduated from New Hanover High. He served as Sergeant in the US Army where he was stationed in Alaska during the Korean War.
Following the Army he attended Don Martin School of Broadcasting in Hollywood, CA. He worked for 21 years with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) as a broadcaster and General Manager of their three radio stations in Hawaii. Following BGEA he attended International Bible College and was ordained as a Baptist minister.
Cliff was the old oak at the center of the family, and his passing is a substantial change to the landscape of our lives.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Cochram; daughter, Lisa Hoban; son, David Scott (Amy); daughter, Rebecca Jensen (Angelo); daughter-in-law, Erika E. Scott (Clifford D. Scott); six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, “Treasure Girl” Billie Jean Scott, and by his son, Clifford Dewitt Scott.
