

Hazel Hilton Aycoth of Union County, 92 years young, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 11, 2020. She was born on March 27, 1927 to the late White and Ally Hilton. Hazel retired from Charlotte Pipe in Monroe, NC.
She was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church. She was the Tar Heels #1 fan.
Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hilton O. Aycoth (Hick); step-son Mick Aycoth,
grandson Andrew Aycoth and siblings Leston Hilton, Wriston Hilton, Hall Hilton, Pauline
Jamison, Ruth Haney and Dorothy Parker.
She is survived by her children Randy Aycoth (Tilly) and Lisa Love (Rusty);
grandchildren Rebecca Dockery (Eric), Daniel Aycoth (Brittany), Ryan Love (Bylinda),
April Whipple (Michael) and Jacob Love; step-grandchildren Marty and Chris Aycoth;
great-grandchildren Wyatt and Baylee Dockery, Logan and Grady Aycoth, Cayden Love
and Austin Whipple.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe on Saturday March 14. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 PM, with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes or Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation.
