James Neulan Williams, 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday morning, July 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at his bedside. Neulan was born April 27, 1943 in Union County, son of the late Brady W. and Lela Rushing Williams. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Kay Merritt Williams who died October 20, 1998. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired from Charlotte Pipe as Foreman of the Pattern Department. Visitation will be Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 4:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, Services to celebrate his life will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 28, 2014 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, and interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter: Tammy Norman (Rick), one son: Todd Williams, one brother: Ned Williams (Sue), Lucille Parker all of Monroe.
