Mr. John K. Gurley, 81, died Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Marietta Ga. Mr. Gurley was born February 21, 1933 in Norfolk, Va., son of the late Jacob and Bertha Ellis Gurley, he was also preceded in death by a son John Kenneth Gurley Jr. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters: Leah Sue Bridgewater of Marietta GA., and Karen K. Brister of Greenville SC. McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service of Monroe is serving the family of Mr. Gurley.
