She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Ray “Short” Rushing; her sister, Shirley Sue Stewart; granddaughter, Morgan Dawn Rushing and great-grandson, Zachary Ryker Younts.
She is survived by her children; son, Blan Rushing (Lisa); daughter, Susan Pressley (Eric); grandchildren; Megan Long (Nick), Amber Younts (Tyler), Ashley Younts (Zach), Seth Rushing and Alex Pressley; great-grandchildren; Raylyn, Paisley, Emma and Rhett Younts.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Friendly Baptist Church with burial following at the church cemetery.
