Olin was born June 26,1936 in Union County, N.C., son of the late Britton and Ada Jowers Griffin.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 12:30 P.M. till 1:30 P.M. at Lee Park Baptist Church in Monroe. Services to Celebrate the Life of Olin will begin at 2:00 P.M. immediately following the visitation with his Pastor Reverend Chris Justice officiating.
Entombment will be at Lakeland Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Byrum Griffin of the home, one daughter: Joyce Carden and husband David of Knoxville TN., one son: Reverend Greg Moser and wife Melissa of Goldsboro N.C., five grandchildren: Erin Fowler, Amanda Carden, Chelsea Brown, Emily Newell and Kenny Moser, five great grand children, one brother: Billy Ray Griffin and wife Sue of Monroe.
