

Born on February 17, 1945, in New Hampshire, Patricia was the daughter of Arthur and Hilda Dupuis. She married Roger Franks, on August 21, 1965 in Homestead, Florida and together they raised their three children in Pekin, Illinois.
Pat began her career as a teacher assistant at Douglas School Pekin, Illinois where she supported students with kindness and determination. She later served as a dietary supervisor for many years and retired from the Apostolic Christian Home in Morton, Il in 2010. Pat’s work reflected her compassion and commitment to helping others live with dignity, respect, and care.
Pat found great joy in her four grandchildren. She loved to bake and sew, sharing those talents generously with her family and friends. She was affectionately known as “Grandma Cookie” for all the treats she baked with love for others.
Pat is survived by her children: Lora Franks of New York, New York, Rebecca Franks of Normal, Illinois and Dennis (Lyn) Franks of Monroe, North Carolina as well as her four grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Riley, and Caleb Franks.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Franks, her father Arthur Dupuis, her mother Hilda Grunwell Dupuis, her sister Rebecca Dupuis and her brother Donald Dupuis.
Pat will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and deep devotion to family. She most recently attended Lee Park Baptist Church where she enjoyed fellowship with her small group.
Cremation rights have been accorded, and graveside services will be scheduled in Pekin, Illinois at a later date.
