Mr. Randy William Carroll

Randy William Carroll, 42, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, March 14, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Randy was born November 15, 1969 in Pinehurst N.C., son of William Ray Carroll and the late Mabel Paul Carroll. He was a Detective with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department serving in the armed robbery Unit, he was an avid runner and had completed two marathons, an enthusiastic golfer, a member of the Eastgate Masonic Lodge # 692, more importantly Randy was a loving husband and father to his two daughters. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, Memorial Services to celebrate the life of Randy will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Central United Methodist Church, with Rev. Britt Hadley officiating, a reception will follow immediately following the memorial service. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 20 years, Lisa Edison Carroll, two daughters: Josie Carroll and Willa Carroll all of the home, Father and step-mother: Ray and Janice Carroll of Rockingham, N.C., one sister: Cindy Carroll of Southern Pines N.C.
