Rayvone Trull

Rayvone "Ray" Trull of Monroe passed away peacefully at home on October 14, 2023. She was born in Union County to the late Roy and Cora Howard. Ray was the proud owner of Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio of Monroe for 35 years. Upon selling her studio, she worked with her husband, Maurice Trull at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe until his retirement after 65 years. For many years, Ray served as the Chief Judge for the Union County Board of Elections at the Lake Park Precinct. She was also an active member of Benton Heights Presbyterian Church in Monroe.

Ray especially enjoyed time with her family, in the kitchen and outside with her flowers. Prior to her illness, she and Maurice traveled to all 50 states and several international countries.

Ray is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Maurice W. Trull and their children, Maureen Trull Little (Rick) of Monroe, NC; Marty W. Trull (Dana) of Mint Hill, NC; Melinda Trull Secrest (Rodney) of Marshville, NC and Monica Trull (Adam) of Monroe, NC. In addition, Ray is survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Benton Heights Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Entombment will immediately follow at the church columbarium concluding with a gathering of family and friends.
