Robert W. Eubanks, 76, of Monroe passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on January 15, 2020. Robert was born in Monroe on April 21, 1943 to the late Robert Kelly and Alma Eubanks. He loved the outdoors and all types of animals - being on his farm and riding his 4 wheeler. Robert was a small engine mechanic for 40 years. He was also a volunteer with Sandy Ridge VFD for many years. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Eubanks; son, Robert S. Eubanks and his wife Amy; granddaughter, Shannon Eubanks Fordney and her husband Clifford and two great-grandchildren, Dianne and Derek Fordney. Services will be private.

Roberts was my boyfriend as he use to say to my husband Tommy. He was an awesome friend and great inspiration when it came to living life. He was there when I started with Sandy Ridge Fire Department and helped me many of times when I didn’t understand something. He will be missed.
