Mr. Robert Milton Hill

Mr. Robert “Bob” Hill, 78 of Lake Park N.C. died Thursday November 29, 2011 at the Jesse Helms Nursing Center in Monroe. Mr. Hill was born May 24, 1934 in Mecklenburg County N.C., son of the late Walter Earnest and Vennie F. Secrest Hill, he was also preceded in death by a brother Walter Everett Hill. Bob was the retired owner of Hill Insurance Company. Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Secrest Grove Baptist Church, with services to celebrate his life beginning at 3:00 P.M. in the Church Sanctuary, with his pastor Reverend Jeff Whitecotton officiating, interment will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include two daughters; Kimberly Ann Hill Pace and husband Robert Ashley Pace of Indian Trail N.C., Susan Hill Hey and Husband David Hey of Greenville S.C., six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three sisters: Carolyn Helms and Husband Leon of Monroe N.C., Martha Ann Hawkins and husband Frank of Murrells Inlet S.C., Nancy Huneycutt and husband Jerry of Monroe N.C., former wife; Roe Ann Hill of Indian Trail N.C.
