Roger or as I call you Digger. You will be missed by a great deal of people. I will always remember you smile in that  day-glow orange shirt of yours walking through the parking lot at TWC. You never had a cross word to say to anyone. I will also miss my calls to you and the first thing you would say was " I didn't do it ". You can finally stop digging now and rest for once. There must be serious cable plant issues upstairs since the Lord has called you home. Peace be with you my friend.

To Rogers family I'm sorry for your loss. Roger was a great friend and co worker. I will miss him dearly. He was always there for me all the years we worked together and we had a lot of great times.

Roger taught many of us CPR, and I remember him saying: " I wear sneakers because I go so fast". and "We are responcible for the cable signal, not the custumers equipment." That helped me as a cable tech. Thanks Roger, Jeff Stabins (Webster, NY)

Julia and family.So sorry to hear of Rogers passing.I always considered Rog a friend and you couldn't ask for a more dedicated co-worker.When I first started working in Rochester from Honeoye,Rog took me under his wing and showed me how things worked in the "big city".Fond memories of Rog will always remain.Thoughts and prayers to you and the girls.

To The Family, we were saddened by the news of Roger's passing.  I considered him a gopher because if there was a hole to dig at work, he'd be the first with the shovel.  The deeper the hole, the bigger the smile.  Always willing to help anybody and everybody..anytime.  We are going to miss his horseradish concoctions. I worked with Roger for years and we had many great laughs telling stories about life – Roger was always willing to help anyone at anytime, and if you really knew Roger he had a gift to gab!!!!I will have many fond memories about Roger. He truly Loved life and his Families RIP Roger RIP

I will never forget the day Roger told me of his illness, my heart sank. I can remember the last day for him at work and we sat beside each other discussing his options.We had many discussions about this . It felt good knowing Roger cared enough about me to tell me his personal thoughts. What a great guy to have known. I wished this day wouldnt have came so early in his life. He will be missed my many including myself. RIP Roger

I will miss my Friend and Mentor. Roger was always willing to help and teach anyone who asked. Roger and I worked the same shift and area so we were always together working an issue or "Digging a Hole" it seemed. He even came to my home and helped me on a project on his day off. My favorite memory of Roger was his love of home made Beef Jerky (made by Julia of course) and Wendy's Frosty's. We often found ourselves stopping for a treat on a hot summers day and figuring out where we were going next. I am lucky to have met and worked with such a great person as Roger. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with his Family and Friends.

Roger was a mentor, and more importantly, a very good friend to me.  I pray for his family, that they may find peace and comfort in his memories.  He was an incredible individual and we are all better that were lucky enough to be around him.

I have never met a more dedicated and loyal person to their job as Roger. He certainly had something special within him that drove his amazing efforts. Like others have said, he always had a smile and something positive to say. My prayers are with his family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with Rogers family. I met Roger working for an investigation company for Time Warner, he laughed when he met me the first time “a girl" he said. He quickly became my favorite tech. He shared stories of his family, New York, the fire department and time creating master pieces. He always asked about myself and my children. I learned a tremendous amount of what I know about cable from Roger. He always went the extra mile, took the time to help any way he could. He was a good person with an amazing heart…..yankee to yankee Roger you are and will be missed….I came across this photo tonight and I thought I would share.

Although I'm no longer with TWC, I'm deeply saddened by this loss.  Roger was always committed to his work and to his team. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Roger always had a kind word and a smile for anyone he encountered.  I met his soon after high school through our mutual friend Robin and later worked with him for years at Time Warner Cable in Rochester before he relocated.  Perhaps my favorite vision of him is as a fireman with special note to seeing his whole family working at the Walworth Fire Department chicken barbecue fundraisers.  My sympathies to Julia, the girls and the rest of Roger's family.

A better neighbor could not be found!  We missed all of you when you relocated - especially Rog as he was always out &  about.  Rog was always the first to step up when a hand was needed. It is not the same on Saturdays with out his phone call to me at 7:30am on the dot asking if he needs to come take over a outage or just to say good morning and talk about fire department stuff.
