Ruby Griffin

Born April 8, 1940, in Union County, she was the daughter of the late Jim Hargett and Mary Hargett. She was a 1958 graduate of Wesley Chapel High School. She worked as a seamstress for Perfect Fit for 35 years prior to her retirement. Her joys in life revolved around her 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, word search puzzles, and spending time on bus tour trips with her friends. She was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church for over 60 years, and she loved her church family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Belinda Richardson and son-in-law Dennis Richardson of Mount Gilead, NC; son, Archie Griffin II and daughter-in-law Libbie Griffin of Indian Trail, NC; grandchildren, Andrea Richardson, of Lexington, NC, Dennis Richardson II of Monroe, NC and Maggie Griffin of Indian Trail; great grandchildren, Aaliyah Cuff, Amiyah Brook Lewis and Nevaeh Locklear of Lexington, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lakeland Memorial Park, located at 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. Rev. Lynn Coble of Roanoke Baptist Church will conduct the service.
