
Russell L. Fox passed away unexpectedly December 5, 2015, at his residence. He was born May 14, 1942, in Boomer, WV, to the late Russell Denver and Emma Mae Hilton Fox. Russ spent his childhood years in Belpre, Ohio, graduating from Belpre High School in 1960. Russ was a Navy Veteran, actively serving his country from 1960 through 1962 and participated in the Cuban Missile Crisis while serving aboard the USS Amphion. Russ received an Honorable discharge from Reserve duty in 1965. A 1966 graduate of Ohio University, Russ spent most of his career as a Financial Advisor, retiring from Smith-Barney, Charlotte in 2002. Russ enjoyed bicycling, spending time with his friends on their annual Myrtle Beach trips and organizing shooting events for "The Wild Bunch."
Survivors include his wife Millie A. Fox, sons Russell and Timothy Fox, a brother, Jim D. Fox (Susan) and Josie, his beloved cat.
Pursuant to his wishes, Russ will be cremated. There will be no funeral services at this time. The family may hold a memorial service at a later date.
