She was born September 6, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Juanita (Tossier) Burton.
Bert Ann is preceded in death by her parents, William and Juanita Burton: brothers Richard and Joseph Burton; and loving first husband James Terry Garrison.
Bert Ann is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ronald Smith; children James (Barbara) Garrison, Kimberly Kult, Jennifer Summerville, Shawn (Stacy) Garrison & Erin (Brandon Hildreth) Garrison-Cramer. Loving grandmother to 11 and guardian angel to Emma Cramer.
Cherished sister to Rodney (Brenda) and Roger (Maryanne) Burton. Dear sister in law to Brenda (Joseph) Burton and Peggy (Richard) Burton. Cherished aunt, cousin and friend.
Bert Ann graduated with honors after going back to school to pursue a nursing degree later in life. Rescuer of abandoned animals, talented artist, gardener and Reiki Master Healer. Lovely Ann leaves behind many who love and will miss her.
