David will always be part of some of my fondest memories of high school.  I was new in Montgomery in 1983 and David was one of my first friends here.  We went to church together and his wit, humor, and intellect played a major part in our friendship.  My prayers go out to Christi and David's family.  The world is a lesser place without him.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I really enjoyed working with David at Miltope. He was full of life and the love of ALABAMA football was what we had in common. We talked alot about football and his family. He loved his family and even though I never met them I felt like I knew them. May God be with you through this trouble time. MY FRIEND & CO-WORKER

So sorry to hear about your lost. David was a very friendly person who I enjoyed working with at Miltope. I will miss his bright smile and his personality very much. Dave and I worked together at Miltope but above that we were friends. We golfed on several golf outings and had a great time of it. Dave could put light in a dark room just with his presence. We had the oppurtinity to talk during our breaks about Golf , football, TVs and just about anything that come up. He will be sorely missed.  As Dave has said to me a few times, I will tell him (Catch you later BROTHER) until we meet again. My heart felt thought and prayers go out to the family in this most difficult time

My sympathies to the Friedel family. Dave was a really great guy, good friend. The short time I spent working with him in Al 7 years ago were memorable and he really helped me dealing with tough situations. He will be missed

To the Friedel family,

I am so truly sorry to hear of Dave's passing. What a lively, energetic and friendly person Dave was.  Dave worked with my husband, Mac McCracken at CoachComm for a couple of years.  However, we knew Dave initially because he had worked on our television previous to his employment with Coach Comm.  He was so sweet to our family and he was such a wonderful person with a personality to light up a room.  We would like to send our deepest condolences to your family.
