

David Scott Wilson, age 53, of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022.
He was a world traveler, an Alabama fan, woodworker, farmer, biker, fisherman, dog lover, music addict, car junkie, fashion icon, and a risk taking cook. He loved being a father but his favorite title was pawpaw.
He is survived by his loving wife, Renee Wilson; children, Jessica Herring and husband Shaun, Houston Wilson and wife Jean, Sarah Williamson and husband Justin; grandchildren, Barrett Wilson, Cayson Wilson, Waylon Wilson, Laney Wilson, JT Herring, Olivia Williamson, and Madelyn Wilson; mother, Martha Wilson; siblings, Dave Roberts and wife Noreen, James Wilson and wife Shelia, and Sharon Davis and husband Charles.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Wilson.
Pallbearers are Houston Wilson, Scott Baker, Jimmy East, Randy Watson, David Ingram, Dennis Smothers, Johnny Lane, and Mark Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers are Shaun Jones, Johnny Smothers, Walt Potter, Shaun Herring, Justin Williamson, Chip Sargent, and Charles Davis.
Friends are cordially invite to a visitation on Friday, November 11th starting at 5 in the evening in the magnolia room at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. The service will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 10 in the morning at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home in Heritage Hall.
