Erin N Crooks

Erin N. Crooks, born on September 19, 1947, died on October 24, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Phillips High School. She was an officer at First Alabama Bank/Regions Financial Corporation from 1979 until she retired in 2007. Erin was a member of First United Methodist Church of Montgomery where she served by making shawls in the Prayer Shawl Ministry and she served in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Christopher Conway and her second husband, Eugene F. Crooks, her parents, Cliff and Verna Nation, two stepsons, Mark E. Crooks and Richard D. Crooks and one stepdaughter, Sharon Rae Crooks Reed. She is also predeceased by one granddaughter, Emily Conway.

She is survived by two stepsons, Patrick Conway of Birmingham, AL and Captain Bradley Conway (Michele) of Washington, DC, Seven Grandchildren, Shelby Conway, Jack Conway, Addison Conway, Jessica Francis, Jared Crooks, Jamie Crooks, Rebecca Reed and two great grandchildren, Caleb Francis and Khloee Crooks.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until service time on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home 10505 Atlanta Highway Montgomery, AL. Graveside Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Captain Bradley Conway, Patrick Conway, Jack Conway, Tristan Malone, Elijah Arant and Bud May.
