Gregory Allen Ross

Greg was born on July 20, 1954 to Edwin Ross and Donna Cordell in Columbus, Ohio. He served in the Army at Ft. Knox as a member of the Military Police, then transitioned into multiple positions with Sygma Foods, before becoming a warehouse manager for Burris Logistics.

In 2018, Greg met his fiance Cheri Leroux. They spent four happy years together.

Greg loved to golf, enjoyed spending free time at the casino or the ocean, and spent every Saturday in the fall cheering on his favorite college football team, The Ohio State Buckeyes. Lately, he enjoyed spending his evenings playing Gin, with his dear friend, Jimmy Johnson.

Greg is preceded in death by his father (Edwin Ross), mother (Donna Cordell), and wife (Vicki Ross). He is survived by his children, Allen (Jama) Ross, Arick (Allison) Goeckerman, Deena (Cliff) Moser; special adopted daughter Stepfanie (Nick) Szilagyi; sister Robyn (Jim Christy) Smith; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends who loved him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made in Greg’s name to the American Cancer Society.

A Special Celebration of Life to honor Greg to be held at a later date, as yet to be determined.
