

CAMPBELL, Joseph R., II, 37, of Pike Road (Montgomery), AL, passed away November 10, 2014. Joe was a well-respected attorney in Montgomery, most recognized as an expert in the field of Workers Compensation and personal injury. Joe grew up in Rainbow City, Alabama, earned his J.D. from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2003 after obtaining his B.S. degree from Jacksonville State University in 2000. He was a member of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association as well as the Montgomery County Trial Lawyers Association. Joe is survived by his wife, Kimberly Claxton Campbell, daughter Sarah A. Campbell, son Joseph “Jack” Campbell of Pike Road, Alabama. Joey is survived by his father Joseph “Randy” Campbell, Sr., mother Marilyn “Marty” Campbell and sister Julie Gilchrist (Bill) all of Rainbow City, Alabama; Joey is also survived by his mother-in-law, Cindy Claxton; and father-in-law, Lt. Col. Bernie Claxton; four brothers-in-law, Donny Claxton, Richard Claxton, Tommy Claxton (Angie), Kenny Claxton (Bethy). He had a great sense of humor and was a fun-loving guy. Joey loved all sports, movies, good food and people. But Joey’s greatest love was for family and his two children. Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery.
