Joshua Gary Davis

Davis, Joshua Gary, age 25, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Annie Nell Gary and Dorothy Hammann and his great-grandparents, Charlie R., Jr. and Ouida Sanders. He is survived by his mother, Angela Sanders Teague; his father, Richard Todd Davis; his brothers, Michael Andrew Davis and Braden Edward Teague; his sister, Catherine Elizabeth Davis; grandparents, Richard and Donna Sue Davis; great-grandfather, Abner Ray Gary; grandparents, Lt. Col. Bradley L. (Ret.) and Betty Sanders; and great-grandfather, Lt. Col. Robert Max Hammann (Ret.). Joshua was an avid reader and writer who loved his family and friends. He was passionate about using his words to make a difference in the world. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Northcutt and Rev. Vaughn Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Lt. Col. Alan Sanders, Andrew Sanders, 1st Lt.
