LESTER, Kenneth Layne, 73, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, and a native of Greenvale, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. He was a member of Eastmont Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Cyrus Lester and Lalia Penuel Lester and sister, Nileen Lester Baines. He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Lester; son, Chris Lester; sister, Maxine King; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Northcutt officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Greenvale Cemetery in Greenvale, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
