Larry Davidson

Larry received his BA from Samford University followed by his Masters of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Larry marked his 34th year at Baptist Medical Center on June 23, 2014. Larry was honored as the Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year at Baptist. Larry was also honored with the publication of select devotionals and prayers entitled, “A Walk with Turtles”. Larry also pastored Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ramer, AL for 16 years. He is survived by his wife, Pam Davidson; Son(s): Bill Davidson (Kellie); Daphne, AL,Matt Davidson (Maureen); Sandy Springs, GA, Daughter: Abbie Davidson; Troy, AL; Grandchildren: William, Hanna, and Emily Davidson; Daphne, AL; Parents: Gene and Louise Davidson; Maysville, GA; Brothers: Troy Davidson (Cindy); Senoia, GA; Kelvin Davidson (Michelle); Gainesville, GA;Sisters: Janet Davidson; Maysville, GA along with a host of nieces and nephews.; Sons-of-Heart: Shannon Smith (Lisa); Deatsville, AL, Chad Smith (Beth); Dawsonville, GA, Jeremy Brink; Deatsville, AL.; other grand children: Haley and Ethan Smith Carter, Jackson and Cooper Brink.

Visitation will be Monday July 21, 2014 from 5pm – 7pm at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 22, 2014, at 2:00pm in a chapel service at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Burton and Billy Irvine officiating. Pallbearers will be:Vergie Browder, Mike Norman, Greg Nowell, Ryan Yaun, David Peterson and Joe Leuschke.
