
Lenwood Jerry Mount, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the age of 83. After serving 20 years in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Master Sergeant, he served as a United States Marshal for 21 years. He was a member of the Directors Staff of the Alcazar Shrine Temple, and a member of the Air Force One Lodge #889 F. & A. M. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Mount, his parents Paul and Rachel Mount, and his sister Linda Hight. Survivors include his daughter Pamela Mount (Bob) Taylor, grandchildren Zachary Robert Taylor and Hannah Elizabeth Taylor, all of Montgomery, Alabama, his sisters Wilma (Ray) Goad of Smyrna, Tennessee, Juanita (Mike) Retchless of Franklin, Tennessee, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with funeral services following at 11:30 a.m. A graveside service will follow. All services will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery.
