

Frances met the love of her life when she was 14 years old. She and Tommy dated through high school. After graduation Tommy volunteered for the Navy and spent 2 years in the South Pacific during World War II. While he was gone Frances was a government inspector for an ammunitions plant in Rockwood, AL. Tommy and Frances lived, loved and laughed through 61 years of marriage.
Frances was baptized at the age of 15 and was faithful to the Lord until her death. She was a member of the Church of Christ and taught multiple children’s and women’s Bible Classes. She worked as an insurance agent for 50 years. Frances loved books, crocheting, and ceramics. She believed her role in life was to rear children who were faithful to the Lord. Frances loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. She played games, had tea parties, laughed and read with her grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her children, Annette Duncan, Brian Moore (Ximena), Craig Moore (Marion Hale, special friend); grandchildren, Jeremy Ramsey (Becky), Alicia Ramsey, Katie Keeley (David), Grace Moore, Isabella Moore, great grandchildren, Meghan Ramsey, Jackson Ramsey, Dash Ramsey, Esther Keeley, Eva Keeley, her siblings, Joanne Hooper Nading (Gary), and James “Jim” Hooper (Mona).
Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James T. “Tommy” Moore, brother, Gerald Hooper and his wife, Betty Jo, son-in-law, Ashley Duncan, and numerous family and friends.
A graveside service for Nina will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117.
