

Sylvia Gram Falero, 88, passed peacefully in her home in Montgomery, AL on September 19th, 2024. Sylvia was born on February 9, 1936 in Hot Springs, Virginia the daughter of the late Ivar and Marie Gram.
Sylvia is survived by her husband of 50 plus years, Dr Wallace G. Falero, two children by a previous marriage, her son the late Robin Thompson of Savannah, GA and daughter Machelle (Shelly) Plecker of Millboro VA, four grandchildren Heather T. Oliver of Atlanta GA, Meagan Walkley of New Kent VA, Travis Plecker of Millboro VA, and Emily P. Fry of Millboro VA, six great grandchildren Emma Walkley, Isaiah Walkley, Riley Plecker, Olivia Plecker, Madelyn Plecker and Anson Fry. Six siblings the late Else Boswell, Ivar Gram, Kathy Marshall, Bill Gram, Terry Long and Joe Gram and numerous nieces and nephews.
Over the course of Sylvia’s life she worked a wide array of creative and public relations jobs globally. She designed apparel at Sea Island Golf Course in Georgia, and Dorado Beach Golf Club in Puerto Rico. Sylvia was an executive administrator at Torrejon Airforce base, as well as spanish executives in Madrid, Spain, and Puerto Rico.
Sylvia and Wallace resided in Puerto Rico, Spain, New Jersey, and eventually settled in Montgomery, AL where they have been longtime members of Frazer Church.
Her hobbies and talents over the years included fashion, modeling, physical fitness, ballroom dancing, pageant judging, gourmet cooking, floral design, President of her Sunday school class, golfing, traveling and entertaining friends and family.
She will forever be remembered by her family and friends for her larger than life personality and charm.
The family invites you to attend a celebration of life on Friday, September 27th, 2024 at 11:00AM at Frazer Church. Reception to follow at Arrowhead CC.
