I am sending my sincere condolences to the family of B.A. “Red” Adams.
He was unforgettable in his kindness and generosity.
I knew Red and Yvonne from my years working at the Huntington Hotel in San Francisco.  They and their family were frequent return guests, and always were warmly welcomed back to our hotel.  
When he found out on one visit I was going to New Orleans for my birthday, he asked for my mailing address and sent me a birthday card!  
So thoughtful!  
Red and Yvonne were much appreciated by our staff!! May they Rest in Heaven 🙏

I could not have asked for better Godparents than Red and Yvonne Adams.  Two persistent, caring people who would show up for my birthdays and other visits, support me as well as my siblings throughout.

Red was a friend, business partner and trusted confidant. He and his family were special in every way to Janelle and me. Red was respected as an oil and gas executive and his word was better than any contract I ever signed.  He and Yvonne will be remembered and missed!

I remember very fondly spending evening meals with Red and his wife  Yvonne,  either at their home or at the Petroleum Club in Morgan City. They were both always so hospitable and kind and fun to be around. May his Soul Rest in Peace.

Mr B A Adams Snr ("Mr Red") and his late wife Yvonne ("Miss Yvonne") were very kind to my family when we arrived in New Orleans in 1993, and we remained firm friends from afar when we left Louisiana. 

Mr Red was very generous. His kindness, thoughtfulness and hospitality were beyond measure. I remember with great fondness his hosting of long business lunches on Fridays at Galatoire's in the Quarter. I shall miss his regular Christmas and Birthday cards very much, and of course the occasional note from the Napa Valley !!. I will remember him as a great friend. He was an oilfield gentleman, and there aren't many of those left. My sincere condolences to the extended Adams family, especially to Byron Jnr and his lovely wife Shannon. Rest in peace, Mr Red.

Mr Red was one of the nicest men that I had the pleasure of working for. Rest in peace and may God bless over the family in this time

I owe everything to Mr. Red. I could only afford to go to college because Mr. Red let me work summers and holidays at Oil & Gas Rentals. There were many times it was obvious that he really didn’t need me but let me work there so I could afford school. When I graduated I went to him and showed him my diploma and thanked him but he never knew what his kindness meant to me. God bless you Mr Red you will be missed.

To the Adams Family,

Mr. Red lived the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius by learning to die to himself so that Jesus could work through him. Mr. Red did what he could to bring men to encounter Jesus by making the Spiritual Exercises at Manresa. Please know of the prayers of us Jesuits at Manresa for you all and for the repose of the soul of Mr. Red.  His physical presence around January 1st will be missed but his spirit will be present.

Mr.Red and Ms.Yvonne were good friends with my parents, John and Olivia O’Connor. They often included me when visiting San Francisco.  I looked forward to their Christmas card each year. What a life? As a young man entering the Oilfield in South Louisiana the first name you would hear was his!
He was huge part of the growth of the Oil Industry in this area!
He will be greatly missed by!
My wife and I will not be able to attend the celebration of his life as we will be celebrating the Marriage of our Granddaughter!

I was so sad this morning to hear of my friend Mr. “Reds”passing. I got to know him through my work at Morella Physical Therapy Clinic for the past 16 years. He was a character and always had stories to share of his childhood, his family and the time he went to Scotland to play golf ( my homeland ) I will miss him. I want to wish his family my heartfelt condolences.

My heartfelt condolences to The Adams Family.   Mr. Red was such a great friend and business associate that left so many fond memories that I will cherish forever.  He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.  His contributions to the Morgan City community are too numerous to even attempt to list them - Mr. Red leaves such an awesome impact on everyone that his generosity help them in their everyday lives. I came to Morgan City in 1956 as an engineer for Texaco. Red was one of the first persons I met, and we became lifelong friends. He introduced me to Manresa Retreats with the Jesuits. This became an annual event for me until 3 years ago when I became unable to attend anymore. 

He was a very successful businessman and leader in the oil industry.
He will be greatly missed.

Red Adams is one of those Iconic names.  There will be many memories posted about Red but one I remember is the first time I attended Manresa Retreat House. It was in 1979. I rode in the car with Red, Ken Theriot and Bill Thompson. That was quite an introduction to Manresa. Red taught me by example to love, cherish, and support Manresa.  
Red was generously supportive of many things that helped many people benefitting many of us. With gratitude I remember. 
May God bless Red and all those he loves and those who love him.
