Cynthia Belanger

Cynthia is survived by two daughters, Opal Killingsworth and Cynthia Lavergne; six sons, John, Marshall, and Cicero Poole, Charles Sherman Sr., Arthur and Mitchell Belanger; one sister, Winnie Friou; two brothers, Samuel Otis and Nathan Poole; 24 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, S.C. and Alto Roy Poole; her husband, Celestine Belanger; two daughters, Elizabeth Belanger and Gracie Davis; three sisters; four brothers and one great grandchild, Adan Couvillier.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 10am until time of services at 2pm at Teche Baptist Church of Centerville. Following services, Cynthia will be laid to rest in the Teche Baptist Cemetery also in Centerville.

Acting as pallbearers will be Arthur Belanger, Sidney Couvillier Jr., Charles Sherman Jr., Justin Doucet, Tommy Killingsworth and Kevin Johns. Honorary pallbearer will be Mitchell Belanger.
