He is survived by his son, Kevin J. Ackman and Kristen W Ackman; his brothers and sisters, Rita Ackman, Rufus and Elaine Lombas Ackman, Ulysse and Janet Hidalgo Ackman, Daniel and Margaret Barris Ackman, Laura Ackman Barbier, Dianne Ackman Sauce, Pam Ackman, Dupuy Dehart and Ed Dehart, and Ben and Bridgett Elliott Ackman; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his father; his mother; four sisters; four brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial arrangements will come at a later date as family members travel.
