

Gladys was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Gladys was a woman of God and was a faithful Christian. Her family was her world and she enjoyed every moment she got to spend with them. You could often find Gladys sitting on her porch listening to Christian music. She also enjoyed going to the camp with her husband and watching game shows.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of forty three years, Troyas Richardson; three children, Sonny Giroir (Kathleen), Julia Giroir (Nunu), and Johnny Giroir (Kristie); one daughter-in-law, Sabrina Giroir; one step son, Frank Giroir; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; four siblings, Donald Duval, Alberta Lee , Marie Estelle (Henry Sr.), and Irvin Trahan Sr. and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ozema and Servilla Alleman Duval; one son, Clint Giroir and nine siblings.
A visitation will be held at Hargrave Funeral Home on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 6pm until 8pm and will resume on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 9am until services at 11am. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
