Tiger was a cherished husband, devoted father, loving brother, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, a beloved uncle, and a loyal friend to many. He never met a stranger and was quick to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. His unmistakable laughter had a way of filling a room and lifting the hearts of all who heard it.
Tiger was born October 22, 1937, the son of Louis Rodrigue, Sr. and Eldonia Perrara Rodrigue.
Tiger retired from LaFleur Dairy after 53 years. He also served in numerous other paid and volunteer positions including law enforcement and Army National Guard.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife (Chris Rodrigue); two daughters, Lindsay Spencer (David Spencer) and Jillian Rodrigue (Keith Hudson); one sister, Loretta Gros; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Tiger was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Eldonia Rodrigue; two brothers, three sisters; and three sons.
Though he will be profoundly missed, Tiger’s memory and spirit will live on in the lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church in Morgan City on January 10. Visitation will be held from 10:30AM – 11:30AM with the service to follow.
