On the morning of Monday, February 14, 2022, at the age of 79, Reggy M. Torgrimson was united with his wife and son, LES, in heaven after losing a 6 year battle with lung disease. Reggy was born in Cheyenne Wyoming on October 28, 1942 to Virginia (Torgrimson) Reagan and Norman E.O. Torgrimson. Reggy later moved to Burney, California after graduating high school in 1960. In 1970, he met the love of his life, Becky Gordon Torgrimson. They later moved to Morgan City, LA. with sons Les and Sean. Soon after, Reggy started their company, Crew Service Marine Personnel, Inc. The company would be the oldest marine employment agency and remained open for 42 years. He loved meeting new people and was always ready for a new adventure. Through Reggy’s life he enjoyed drawing, photography, sailing, scuba diving, offshore fishing, wood working, close up magic, karate, dancing, camping with his friends, and cooking. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Reggy is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Reagan; wife, Becky Torgrimson; mom, Virginia Reagan; stepfather, William Reagan; son, Les A. Torgrimson and father, Norman E.O. Torgrimson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Sean C. Torgrimson, Sr. and his wife Crystal; sisters, Connie Sue Torgrimson; Cindy Broadway (Tom); Denise Glover; brother, Rocky E. Torgrimson (Becky); 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers consists of Sean C. Torgrimson, Jr., Grant Andrew Torgrimson, Noah Belle, Rocky E. Torgrimson and Keith Leonard.
Family and friends of Reggy are invited to attend the Visitation on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 5pm-9pm at Hargrave Funeral Home, 1031 Victor II Blvd. Morgan City, LA. Visitation will resume on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 9am-11:30am at Hargrave Funeral Home will Funeral Service immediately following.
