Viola was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and great great grandmother.

Viola is survived by her four children Audrey and husband Kenneth Fangue of Hempstead Tx. Elaine Goulas of Morgan City, Gerald and his wife Ellen Goulas of Bayou Vista and Earl and his wife Vicki of Blue Spring , Mo. And her friend and care giver Belle Simoneaux. Ten grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Viola was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Elmo “Scotty” Goulas , her grandson Troy Fangue her parents Octave and Laura Deslatte 7 brothers Lloyd, Teddy, William, Laurie, Aubrey, Eddie, Warren and one sister Era Mae “Sis” Percle.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dishman and Journey Hospice. And a special thanks to Elinor Lee, Grace Guthtie, and Felecia Johnson and Deacon Brent Bourgeois.

Visitation will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tuesday December 27, 2011 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Viola will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
